MAY CONTAIN SPOILER:
This book was very intense and full of emotion. I liked how the author detailed the characters' emotions and you felt like you were the character.
I loved the plot and mystery of this book. The "who done it" moment sent me reeling in shock. When the killer and accomplice were revealed I was so surprised I almost dropped my phone. This was my favorite part!
My favorite character was Cross because he knew what he wanted and he wouldn't let anyone tell him different. He loves Mercy with all of his heart and was always there for her and her sister Prudence.
I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys stories of loss, romance, broken families, town secrets and murder mysteries. I really enjoyed this book.
I give this book 4 out of 5 stars and recommend it for ages 13 and up.
