I liked this book because it was about animals and I really love animals. The animals in this story told stories to the other animals and they were scared about the Gatekeepers.
My favorite character was Dante because he seems very loyal to his friends since he wants to find out what the Gatekeepers did to them.
I give this book 3 out of 5 stars and recommend it for ages 5 to 8.
