BOOK REVIEW: The Most Magnificent Thing by Ashley Spires
BLURB:
A little girl and her canine assistant set out to make the most magnificent thing. But after much hard work, the end result is not what the girl had in mind. Frustrated, she quits. Her assistant suggests a long walk, and as they walk, it slowly becomes clear what the girl needs to do to succeed. A charming story that will give kids the most magnificent thing: perspective!
REVIEW BY: Angelina, age 8 years, 10 months
MAY CONTAIN SPOILER:
I loved this book so much! It was so good and I think it is the best book I have ever read! I wish I was the little girl who made the amazing things in this book!
Now I will tell you about the book, in the beginning the little girl wants to make all kinds of cool things. She tries and tries, but it does not work and she ends up SMASHING HER FINGER!! OUCH! It hurt so bad that she took her dog on a walk. During the walk she received all kinds of treats for her and her dog so she started feeling much better. When she got home, everyone started looking at her cool things that she tried to make.
I give this book 5 out of 5 stars because it is so amazing. I recommend this book for ages 6 and up.
