The author wrote this book exceptionally well! The characters had personality depth and problems that made their life difficult.
My favorite character is Casper because despite his choices, he really believed he was doing the right thing.
My favorite part is when Jacy starts caring for her mom's garden because later in the book you can tell it's something she enjoys.
I recommend this book to anyone who likes to read about drama, romance and the occasional broken family.
I give this book 4 out of 5 stars and recommend it for ages 15 and up.
